Product Description

Kershaw’s Cryo II is the big brother to the original award-winning Cryo, designed by custom knifemaker Rick Hinderer. The razor-sharp 3.25” blade is made of precision heat treated 8Cr13MoV stainless steel offering excellent toughness, edge retention, and corrosion resistance. The Cryo II is coated, head-to-toe, with a matte-gray titanium carbo-nitride for increased hardness, edge maintenance and overall longevity of the blade and handle. The stainless handle is equipped with Kershaw’s SpeedSafe assisted opening system, enabling lightning-fast blade operation with one hand, utilizing the built-in flipper or thumbstud, safely keeping fingers out of the way. A sturdy frame lock securely locks the blade open during use and a Hinderer lockbar stabilizer ensures the lock doesn’t over-extend. The Cryo II is thin for its size and rides comfortably deep in the pocket with a 4-position deep-carry pocket clip. The Cryo II’s tactical good looks and Hinderer design make for a perfect everyday carry.

From the Manufacturer

The Kershaw Cryo II is 20% larger than the original award-winning Cryo, designed by Rick Hinderer. With its bigger 3 1/4-inch Speed Safe-equipped blade, this classic design was built for those who just demand more from their pocketknife. A classic Rick Hinderer design, the Cryo II is built of pure stainless steel coated with matte-grey titanium carbo-nitride for a no-fuss look that lets the design shine through. Like all Ricks knives, the Cryo II benefits from Ricks real world experience as a fire fighter and EMT. Its designed to be a sturdy knife that’s still aesthetically pleasing and feels good in the hand. For secure blade lock up, the Cryo II offers a tough frame lock with lock bar stabilization. The Cryo also comes with Kershaw’s Speed Safe assisted opening for fast and easy one-handed opening. Access it with either the built-in flipper or the thumb stud. Though its a larger knife, the Cryo II is remarkably slim and rides comfortably deep in the pocket thanks to our deep-carry clip. EDC this guy for a while and we think you’ll soon appreciate its virtues. Flipper: The “flipper” is a protrusion on the back of the blade that the user can pull back on, or flip, in order to move the blade easily out of the handle. Speed Safe: Assists you to open any Speed Safe knife quickly and easily. Frame Lock: The knife frame moves behind the blade to lock it into position during use. Quad-carry: The user may position the pocket clip for tip-up or tip-down, left- or right-handed carry.
